Complaint Details :Dear Sir, my LPG consumer number is 10206956. I had submitted “Form 4” for non Adhar for cash transfer mandate on 13 Dec 2014 and also received the acknowledgment from the gas distributor. I made a refill booking on 06 Feb and have been waiting to receive my refill cylinder. However, it was on 26 Feb (when I called up customer care) when I realized that my booking has been automatically cancelled. I went to meet the distributor in Indira Nagar, Adyar and the person there informed that the LPG ID – Bank A/c number update had failed in the system for me and asked me to bring the bank details again. I asked him why he would ask me to bring, when I had already finished all formalities in Dec 2014. As this was a pre-requisite for my refill (due to someone else’s fault) I still went back to him with a cancelled cheque leaf. He then informed me that their systems were down and that he could not update this. He asked me to leave the cheque with him and then he would take care. Hoping he would take care, I returned home. I had made another booking on 26 Feb as my previous one made on 06 Feb was cancelled without any notice to me. TO my surprise, I realized that my second booking has also been cancelled. I am clueless as to how I will get my refill cylinder. The people in Adyar Gas agency seem to be ignorant towards the hassles they put customers like me through. WHy should I be penalized for no fault of mine ? I need your immediate attention in this matter
